Paula Daher's career in design began not in a studio, but at home. While raising her young children, she started handmaking curtains for friends and neighbors — measuring windows, selecting fabrics, stitching panels by hand. What began as a way to stay creative during those early years quietly became her calling. Word spread. Clients followed. And a career was born.

Over the next three decades, Paula built Daher Interior Design into one of New England's most celebrated firms — creating interiors for coastal retreats, Back Bay brownstones, and high-rise penthouses. She was inducted into the New England Design Hall of Fame, named ASID New England Designer of the Year, recognized as Best of Boston's top traditional interior designer three times over, and awarded Best Firm of the Year by Modern Luxury — twice.

Through every project, the window treatment remained her signature — and the one thing the broader industry kept making harder than it needed to be. Confusing sizing charts.
